WEEK 8 FINAL DESIGN : THE WANDER
I shared the 300m2 residence with a couple, the main issues of the house is seriously lacking of sunlight so it's wasting a lot of electricity on artificial lighting, so my idea for this project is redesigning the house to get more nature lighting during the day. I name my design the wander because the lighting is changing at every time in very different way during the day
The solid concrete roofs are replace by the fixed louver roofs, when they are opening, the light can come through building easier
The simple pathway between 2 houses is also redesign to capture more lighting
Reflective wallpapers are apply to reflect the light back into the house

Interior perspective:

The closer look of my bedroom with east-facing glazing maximise the early sunshine in the morning.

The redesign pathway allows more sunlight coming through living space

WEEK 7 DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

1) LIGHT TESTING MODEL

-Natural lighting (day time)

Artificial lighting ( night time)

🔺An update after discussing with tutor: This design may not work because
- So many windows, the skylight may not working in this case
- Poor photography skill : haven't shown where light comes from and how it moving through the building
- Wrong scale : the person looks way too small comparing to the the sliding door

 2) FUSION 360 ACTIVITY : LOFT AND SHELL
I'm having trouble with the shell feature in fashion 360. In detail, the corner of the letter is too sharp
so that's very hard to offset.
